Claudia Zanazzi is a Sardinian girl with many different passions. First of all the passion for Biology: she studied Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and at the age of 26 moved to Holland to continue her studies. In Holland she found her love, and she is growing up her family. She has two childs: one of the age of three, the second of the age of one month. She has been always passioned for cooking, since when she was a little child. Her world involves art, design, music, the nature, the sea. Sardegna and Holland are her inspiration. We are a big group of friends/colleagues who live in Holland to work in the numerous international companies around Den Haag/Leiden/Amsterdam. Be creative with your shopping, relax in the kitchen, have fun with new recipes and explore the new ingredients we offer. Salus is a latin word with many different meanings. In the most archaical latin concept, salus had the meaning of relief and liberation. The etymological dictionary from Giacomo Devoto explains that the term includes also the concept of integrity and honesty of the person. For this reason, Salus was also considered a synonimus of totus (totality) and salvus (redemption). Extending the concept, salus imply the integrality between soul and body, compenetrating together without discontinuity, the mellowness of the self-conscius condition in harmony and total respect with the environment around this nucleus. In addition, salus acquired all the rose of meanings standing for wellness, feeling good, health, till as latest (but most important one): feeling happy. Thus, salus is a very complex word, that refers to the capacity of feeling your body and your soul as unique and fully compenetrating, in order to achieve health, wellbeing, and happiness. Thus, the latin concept of happiness was not only linked to the good functioning of the organs in the body, but also to the capability of understanding the needs of the body integrated with all psycological aspects of the person, in order to achieve fullness and richness in the life. The term ARTSALUS, metaphorically means the unbroken turning of the art as a human behavior, which is not slave to convention and runs away across complex paths; it proves itself while refusing, eventually renewing and creating knowledge. |
